Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th 1996) was born in Miami Florida. A half English mixed with Spanish her parents are Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker as well as Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. His father is an Argentine who had Scottish and English ancestry. She is Spanish and has English roots. The Taylor-Joy family was a household with six kids. Four of her siblings are from her previous marriage to Taylor's dad. They were initially located in Buenos Aires, but moved to Victoria when Taylor-Joy turned 6. Taylor Joy states that the move to England was very traumatic. She was not willing to study English and believed she would be able to move back to Argentina. Hill House became her school preference after she was required to switch schools. Later, she enrolled in Queen's Gate School where she trained in ballet and appeared in school productions. When she reached the age of 16years old, Taylor-Joy left the school to pursue a full-time acting profession. Taylor-Joy has always known she wanted to be an actor. Her dream was granted a chance to try it by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management she offered her an opportunity as a model.
