Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish and half-English woman was born on the 16th of April 1996 in Miami Florida. She is half English and one-half Spanish. The parents of her are Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker as well as Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. Her father is an Argentinean of Scottish and English heritage is also her mother. Her mother hails from Spanish and English heritage. Taylor-Joy was born into a family of six children. Four are her siblings from her previous marriage to Taylor's dad. After having lived in Buenos Aires for six years The family moved to Victoria. Taylor-Joy claims that the move to London was traumatic and that she was unable to study English to avoid moving back to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school when she switched from Northlands. In the following year, she joined Queen's Gate School to study ballet and act in school productions. In her 16th year she left the college and began pursuing a career acting full-time. Taylor-Joy was always aware of her desire to work as an actor. She was given a opportunity by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management, who offered her an opportunity as a model.
