Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor-Joy was born on 16 April 1997 in Miami Florida. The daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor, a ex-bank executive, and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist is Anya Taylor-Joy. She is an Argentinean of Scottish, English and Argentinean descent. Her mother is of Spanish as well as English roots. Taylor-Joy, who is youngest of five children, four were born to Taylor's father's previous marriage. After living within Buenos Aires for six years, the family relocated to Victoria. Taylor-Joy said the relocation was painful, and she refused to study English because she hoped to go back to Argentina. She had to switch schools to Northlands to Hill House. After that, she went to Queen's Gate School in London and took ballet classes as well as participated in the drama department. When she was 16, she quit college and began pursuing a career as an actress full-time. Since her early years, Taylor-Joy was aware of her desire to become an actress and her dreams came true after she was offered a modeling job by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
