Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. Half English as well as Spanish she is the daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. His father is an Argentine with Scottish as well as English ancestry. Her mother's heritage is Spanish as well as English. Four of her siblings belong to her father's previous marriage. Family was in Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy was 6 years old, after which they moved to the Victoria district of London. Taylor-Joy said the relocation was difficult and that she was unable to go back to school in English because she hoped to go back to Argentina. Her school had to change between Northlands to Hill House. Later, she enrolled in Queen's Gate School to study dance and perform in productions of the school. After she turned 16years old, Taylor-Joy left the school to pursue a full-time acting profession. Taylor-Joy always knew she wanted to work as an actor. She was given a chance by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management she offered her a job as a model.
