Anya Taylor-Joy

Allya Taylor Joy was born on April 16 1996, in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor was a former banker. Jennifer Marina Joy worked as a psychotherapist. Her father was an Argentine and has Scottish and English heritage. The mother of Taylor-Joy is Spanish and has English roots. Taylor Joy has four siblings. One of them is from each of her parents' previous marriages. They lived in Buenos Aires until she was six, after which they moved to the Victoria area in London. According to Taylor-Joy the removal was extremely difficult for her and she was unable to study English in the hopes of returning to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she was required to attend after she left Northlands. Later, she enrolled in Queen's Gate School to study ballet as well as perform in productions of the school. At the age of 16, she dropped out of school in order to make a career of acting. Since her early years, Taylor-Joy knew that she wanted to become an actress and her dreams came true when she was offered an opportunity to model by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
