Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor-Joy was born 16 April 1996 in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker. Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychology. Her father, an Argentinean of Scottish and English descendant is her mother. Her mother is of Spanish and English descent. The four siblings of Taylor-Joy are from her father's former marriage. The family lived within Buenos Aires until she was six years old, and then moved to the Victoria region of London. Taylor-Joy says the move to London was traumatizing and that she didn't learn English so that she could avoid returning to Argentina. Hill House became her school of choice after Taylor-Joy was required to switch schools. In the following years, she attended Queen's Gate School and studied ballet. When she was 16 she left school in order to pursue a full-time career in acting. Taylor-Joy was born to be an actress at a young age. She realized her dream after Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modeling gig.
