Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish, half-English woman was born April 16, 1996, in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor was a former banker. Jennifer Marina Joy worked as a psychotherapist. She is an Argentinean of Scottish, English and Argentinean heritage. Her mother is Spanish with English roots. Taylor Joy has four brothers and sisters, with one coming from each of her parents' previous marriages. Buenos Aires was her home up until she was six years old, after which the family relocated into Victoria in London. Taylor Joy claims that her move to England was extremely stressful. She was not willing to study English and was hoping to relocate back to Argentina. Hill House became her school preference after she was forced to change schools. Then she attended Queen's Gate School in London in which she attended ballet classes as well as participated in plays. When she was 16, she quit school in order to take on acting as a profession. Taylor-Joy was always aware of her desire to be an actor. The opportunity was offered to her chance by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management and was offered the opportunity to model.
