Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy is a 16-year old American who was who was born in Miami Florida. She is half English, half Spanish. Parents were Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker and Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. Her father is an Argentinean of Scottish as well as English descent is also her mother. Her mother's ancestry is Spanish and English. Taylor-Joy's siblings are four of her father's previous marriage. The family was within Buenos Aires until she was six then relocated to the Victoria area of London. Taylor-Joy said that the move had been difficult and that she was unable to go back to school in English because she hoped to go back to Argentina. Hill House became her school that she chose after being required to switch schools. Later, she enrolled in Queen's Gate School where she was a ballet student and performed in school productions. After she turned 16years old, Taylor-Joy left the school to concentrate on her acting profession. Taylor-Joy was destined to be an actor from a young age. Her dreams were realized when Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modeling gig.
