Harry Edward Styles - also known as Harry Styles - is a British musician and songwriter. Harry Styles has been acknowledged as the composer in The One Direction band. Parents include Des Styles and Anne Cox. The couple were born on the 1st of February, 1994 in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. Harry Styles, a former student of Holmes Chapel Comprehensive Schools Holmes Chapel Comprehensive schools formed a group called White Eskimo with three fellow students. They participated in the Battle of Bands where thanks to their impressive performances they won. While he's always interested in music, he was also interested in becoming an lawyer or physical therapist. To support his family, he spent some time at a baker's shop. The year was 2010. Harry Styles presented audition for The X Factor where he did the track Is not She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and was selected. Due to this, his group had to be split. Nicole Scherzinger proposed to Harry Styles to be a part of a brand new group, One Direction. The other band members included Liam Payne Zayn Mallik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. The creation of the group took place in the year 2010, and the five young people were supported by Simon Cowell. The group performed hits such as My Life Would Suffer Without You from Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the competition. This made the group one of the contenders for the prize. The band was in the third place behind Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle which took home the prize. Harry Styles, his group as well as Cowell didn't win the competition. However, Cowell provided Harry Styles a 2 million dollar contract with Syco.
